How much is a bad website experience costing you?
Don't leave business on the table because of a poor website experience
Many business owners look at the cost of a high quality website and wonder if it's worth the investment. My response is, how much is a poor website costing you? Looking at the cost of developing a website isn't the place to start. Looking at what's at stake if you lose business to competitors is the right way to look at web design costs. A poor website experience means your potential clients are going to bounce off your site, lose engagement, lose interest, and ultimately lose business. So let me ask again, how much is a bad website experience costing you every month, every week, every day?
Suffice it to say, your decision to hold off on the new website because of other costs, may be costing you the cost of the website many times over.
Not sure if you really need a website, here are a few signs that it's time for an upgrade:
1) Low sales. If you're involved in e-commerce, sales is what it's all about.
2) Poor engagement. Utilize Google Analytics to determine how long a visitor is staying on your site, where they bounce, and if they're taking the desired action on your site. If your Analytics reports reveal less than stellar engagement, you need to make some changes.
3) Outdated content. Fresh content that speaks to your customer's pain point is necessary for a stellar user experience.
4) Low quality photography. Updated photography on your site goes a long way.
